Get ready to love Surekha (pronounced sir-RAY-ka) rice! Organically grown in South India, it's nutritionally closer to brown rice than white rice because of the ancient technique of 'parboiling'. The grains get boiled in their husks to lock in nutrients and fiber. We love its firm texture and faintly sweet taste and the way it complements any cuisine.

Heating instructions
Microwave:
Gently squeeze pouch to separate the grains. Tear a 2" vent at the top. Microwave on high for 90 seconds. Remove using cool-touch area on sides. (Oven times may vary)
Stovetop:
Gently squeeze pouch to separate the grains. Tip contents into a skillet and add a tablespoon of water. Heaton medium, stirring until warmed through.
